He is also the Deputy Managing Director of Uttara Group of Companies which comprises of about 15 nos. of Companies, viz Uttara Motors Ltd., Uttara Apparels Ltd., Uttara Services Ltd., Uttara Knitwear’s Ltd., Uttara Automobile Manufacturers Ltd. Uttara Tyre Re treading Co. Ltd., Menoka Motors Ltd., Hall Marks Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Uttara Motors Corporation Ltd. etc. He is also a Director of National Life Insurance Company Ltd., Uttara Exchange and Securities Ltd., UGC Securities Ltd., Eastern Securities Ltd., Eastern Motors Ltd.
