Mr. Atiqur Rahman has joined Eastern Insurance Company Limited on September 1, 2025 as Additional Managing Director & Head of Branch, Mouchak, Dhaka. Before joining Eastern Insurance Company Limited, he served as Additional Managing Director at South Asia Insurance Company Limited. He has over 20 years of experience in the non-life insurance sector, having worked with Express Insurance Limited as Head of Branch in the Marketing Department.

Mr. Atiqur Rahman obtained his B.Com. (Pass) from the National University before completing a Master’s in Islamic Studies from Islamic University, Dhaka. He was born on June 3, 1976, in a pious Muslim family of Mazumder Bari, Fulgazi, under Feni District. He is also a life member of Feni Samity, Dhaka.
